Rainbows
Rainbows is a weekly peer support program for children aged 5-16 years who have been affected by death, divorce or separation.
In the group children have an opportunity to share with someone on the outside, what is happening in the inside. Through the group, we hope to assist your child in expressing and understanding his/her feelings, to feel acceptance for what has happened, and to feel a sense of belonging and love.
Rainbows is not counseling or therapy and we do not claim to have all the answers to all problems, we do plan to help children sort through their sense of loss through the channels of peer support, nurturing adults to guide them, and a secure place to share themselves.
The next Rainbows program commences Tuesday August 4th at 4pm. Sessions run for 45 minutes per week over 2 school terms. The cost of the program is $50. Fees are payable prior to commencement date.
For more details or to enrol your child into the program contact our office on 95450299 or email admin@scw.org.au.
