Services / Theraplay

As part of our continued focus on Harm Prevention in our community, Southern Community Welfare, in partnership with Gymea Baptist Church, has established a new initiative of Theraplay.

Theraplay combines therapy and play for our participants in playgroup. It aims to disseminate information usually given on entry into therapy to the wider general population. It does this through the use of play therapy that supports the parent/child relationship and is facilitated by a therapist.
