Confident Communication Workshop for Kids

Who: Suitable for 8- 10 year olds

Cost: $60.00

Effective communication skills build up your confidence interacting with others.  Join a small group to explore and practise non-verbal communication and conversation skills.

Some studies have shown that some children who experience anxiety in social situations have appropriate social skills but are not confident in their use of them, while other children who experience anxiety in social situations do not have the appropriate skill set for the situations they find themselves in.  This program is suitable to both groups of children.

It will give children an understanding about what behaviours contribute to confident communication and gives them strategies they can use in social situations.

It is most suitable for children who experience mild anxiety in social situations or who appear anxious in social situations.
